Slow Startup:
I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me why my comfuser:
A: takes between 1.15 to 1.30 mins to go from power-on to the Desktop?
B: shows multiple & different screens while booting?
C: takes around 2 mins to shutdown at times, & less than 1 min at others?
& do I REALLY need these running at Startup (shown in MSConfig), or even running at all:
NVIDIA Driver Helper Service, Version 158.18
NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2K Display Driver, Version 158.18
NVIDIA Media Center Library
TeaTimer (fromSpybot - S&D)

Since the HDD connects via SATA; should I connect my 2 OD drives to IDE1 as M&S, or IDE2 as M&S?

What's better to have on my system:
A combo of Wise Disk Cleaner w/Wise Registry Cleaner.
A combo of Ad-Aware SE Plus w/Spybot - S&D.
Some other combo.
Or just CCleaner, Spyware Doctor &/or PCDecrapifier.
I don't want to have too many apps that do just about the same things, & if I can do w/ just 1 or 2 of the above, that would be great.
Also, Which of the 2 below is easier to use, easy to understand, easy to undo changes; easiest & foolproof for anyone from a newbie to tech Specialsists:
