Hi - Can anyone point me in the right direction? I need to replace my HP
scanjet 5490C (which is not Vista supported) and d not see any Vista ready
scanners onlline. Can anyone recommend a scanner that is vista supported
(any brand). Thanks for the help.

I don't know anything about these particular models, but according to this
page:

Epson has a few they claim have Vista drivers. Even some that say x64.

In case that link doesn't work, you can get there from the Epson home page
via Drivers & Support and then Windows Vista Compatibility (in the right
sidebar under Highlights)

My scanner Canon N650u is not supprted but works with XP drivers on Vista.
Try Canon's website they have a list of Vista supported scanners

I have a Canon CanoScan 4400F brand new. New drivers on the Canon site
work fine with Vista.
