Is there a way to recall a sent email using Windows Mail under Vista (RC 1
5600)?

No. It's very doubtful that such a feature would ever be added when all you
need is already at hand. Under Tools/Options/Send - you'll find a box
marked "Send Messages immediately" and all that's required is to uncheck
that box. Mail will then only go out when you click the Send/Receive button
rather than when you send it to the Outbox.

I don't understand why they removed this feature. You were always able to do this in Outlook. I understand that you should be careful before sending, but mistakes do happen. I used to work for a large company and as we all know, once you type in the first letter of the persons name if they are frecuently used, their name automatically pops up in the address line. If you are not looking closely, you may send the e-mail to the worng person and you might want to recall it. This is just one example for use of this feature.
