Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>security (more info?)
Trying to install a program that I verified will run in Vista (from an
external hard drive) but I get the following Application Error message:
"Shadow caused a General Protection fault in module KRNL386.EXE at 0001:A4C3
Choose close. SHADOW will close." Quotes are mine. That shuts down the
installation process.

Is there any way to stop this from happening and to get my program to
install? What is SHADOW?
