Post subject: Outlook Express, on Vista?

Hey this is my first post. I will be purchasing a laptop here soon and I have a couple of questions. First, would Outlook express work on Vista? Second, can u still use, or transfer your outlook express mail, or even logg-in using your outlook express account.Thirdly, can you use and install, Microsoft Office 2003 on vista? Thanks Guys!

Office 2003 installed fine on my Vista machine. Outlook Express however is gone forever, renamed to Microsoft Mail / Microsoft Live Mail. They work similarly. With Windows Live Mail you can import your Outlook Express folders.

Peon25, that was useful. I got the standard folders through Hotmail web mail. But now, do you have any idea of how can I get my Outlook storage folders (the ones that I set up) from my old laptop (XP) to Windows Mail on the new laptop (Vista)?
Thanks,
Gene Cannon

I remember it had something to do with importing (and possibly exporting the old folders first) into Windows Live Mail. Sort of like what you do if you want to use Outlook for all your old Outlook Express mail. This post was made over a month and a half ago, but I know it didn't take too long (I primarily googled for answers) to get it up and working.
