Office Pro 2K3 and Vista Ultimate

I'm running VU 64 bit and cannot install Office Pro 2K3. The installation disk runs without issue in XP SP2 on another machine but locks-up-willy my Vista machine. It's not until I eject the disk from my drive does it tell me that setup.ini is missing or invalid. I can see the file on the disk without problem on my XP machine but when I try to explore the disk in Vista it seem to "Not Responding"

Seriously, any ideas? No, Office 2007 is not installed nor has it been installed. I have no other running applications other than IE so that I can post this desperate plea for help.
