Please please i need help, two days ago i bought a new laptop with windows VISTA altimate and i have my old PC with windows XP Pro. problem is that i cant share my XP PC with the new laptop, the internet is workin just fine but sharing files is not, the XP pc is connected to the internet directly through a modem and the laptop is connected through the second eathernet card in the XP PC.
When i enter to the network i can see the vista computer but i cant enter to it, i tried every thin, i have the network discovery and the file sharing ON(and i made it PRIVATE), and i gave full permission...i also installed that update on the XP (LLTD) but still not working,i dont know what to do.
i have shared files and folders on the XP too, but when i enter to the network from the vista i cant see the xp pc.
Pleaseee any one have any idea how can i fix this????
