Hi guys

I have a canoscan n670u and Vista 64 but I cannot find drivers.

The cannon website says it doesn't support any 64bit OS (I had this
problem with XP64).

This is utter stupidity as most new pc's now ship with a 64bit OS Sad

Does anyone have any advice on exactly how I can install my scanner

They do? Or are you thinking of 64 bit CPUs?

How about the VISTA 32 one? Although I know that VISTA 64 is somewhat
ahead of the cutting edge 8Sad

One often finds things on European and Australian support sites that
are not here yet.

64 bit drivers all have to be digitally signed so 32 bit drivers won't
normally install.

Sorry, you're out of luck with the scanner, 64 bit O/S is still a fairly new
concept. If you use a Vista 32 bit system your scanner should function OK.
You could perhaps dual boot?

An alternative is to use VueScan, which supports Canon N670U
(there is no need to install Canon Scangear software and TWAIN drivers)
