| When I try to print a picture, the print picture dialog box that pops up is
too big for my screen. It cannot be resized by dragging the edges nor can I
drag the title bar up far enough to reach the buttons at the bottom of the
box. How do I reach those buttons?

If your right-click the taskbar and choose Properties, and temporarily set
the Taskbar to Autohide, or uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other
windows", does that give you a little more space?
Can you set the resolution for your display to a higher setting? That would
be in Control Panel > Personalization > Display Settings.

Can you use your mouse to right click the dialog box title bar, select Move and
then use the up arrow key to move the dialog box up?

This did work, Thank you. But it seems a tedious patch to a problem like
this. I hope Microsoft will come out with a more permanent solution and
actually shrink the size of this dialog box. |

I've not seen this issue come up before regarding Windows Photo Gallery's
Print Picture dialog window. Even searching other forums I can't find any
one else reporting this problem.
Experimenting to reproduce what you are seeing, I changed my resolution to
1280 x 768, and did not get a dialog window that was off the screen, but one
that was fairly normal and reasonable in size. You may want to do this:
Run the System File Checker. To do this, right click on Command
Prompt (Start Menu\Programs\Accessories), and choose
Run as Administrator. Copy the following, and Paste it after the prompt:
sfc /scannow
Press Enter. It will scan all your system files. It may take a few
minutes. If things are okay, you are given the text message "Windows
Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".

Well I ran this scan 3 times and the window got to 99% complete and then
just closed. No messages good or bad. |

Strange...
You mean the dialog box that opens when you press the Print button in the main
Window Photo Gallery window? On my 1680 x 1050 screen it appears to only be
about 600 pixels high. Your resolution was 1440 x 900, right? Seems like it
should fit.

Did you run the command within Command Prompt, or by using Run? If the
latter, the window may close abruptly; I'm not sure. In Command Prompt, if
I type the command sfc /scannow, I get to "Verification 98% complete", and
then "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".
At any rate, your system files (and that would include those for Windows
Photo Gallery) don't seem to be the problem.
If you open Notepad, for example, and choose File > Print, is that dialog
box normal?
