I find that despite moving a listed wireless network, as shown in Control
Panel--Managing Wireless Networks, the displayed listed order never changes
from its alphabetical listing. Is this behavior the way it's supposed to
work? It would be nice to see the first network you want to use at the top
of the list. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Hello John,

You should be able to move the network up or down in list by dragging. You
can also try using the netsh command at the command prompt to specify an
order for connecting to a different network, for example:

netsh wlan set profileorder name="profile1" interface="Wireless Network
Connection" priority=1

Thanks, Eric for your help. Unfortunately they don't move despite repeated
drags and drops. Could there be a Group Policy restriction since I have
V.Business? I have notices gpedit is a very necessary tool.
