I will try and explain the best I can.

got a new computer.
NEW COMPUTER

ok after watching this video, it answered one of my questions. why am I at 100% cpu while dual logged in my game. (dark age of camelot). so it;s not a gamers computer ya, but
then theres the fact that, when I first got the computer and dual logged, the fan never ran crazy and I don;t ever recall running at 100% cpu. Nor do I remember the sytem crashing with a message "windows has stopped running" which instantly closes my game(both instances.

gaming aside, although this is ALL I really want to do with this thing, I noticed that now the cpu is running crazy high when i do anything!

the video that I just posted of my computer? heres a pic of whats going on when i watched it. my cpu jumps up to someimes 80%? and then I go to update driver for a random item in device manager. 71% it jumped to.

something is definitely wrong and I'm afraid playing my game is going to kill computer. Now I have played on weaker older computers so I clearly know this one can handle it..maybe not for long, but it should be more than able.

it;s safe to say all I want to do is play this game and maybe a round or 2 of poker once in awhile. so how can I fix this fan speed spike and cpu usage?

I ran ad- aware, it did nothing. removed a few spywares. but cpu and fan speed was still retarded.
then I did stystem restore. nothing bettered. is there a program that can diagnose my cpu and find out why its running so high for something as simple as a youtube or cnet video? like one that says "your cpu is damaged, broken, or gonna blow up. or even something that tells me my fan is bad?
