My HP J6410 multifunction printer (wireless from a Vista PC on a network) loses documents midway though printing. It just comes up with a message saying error in the printing system. I have to delete the print job and start again. it's worse with longer and more complex documents
HP tech support have suggested a fixed IP - which made no difference.
And then a patch that sounds exactly as if it fits the problem, but which wouldn't install, saying that I didn't have any suitable device installed. Even though it is a suitable device and it is installed.
And when these don't work they eventually go round in a circle and suggest them again.
Any ideas what is happening and how it can be solved?
