I have Vista OS which I generally have been pleased with.
I had an HP inkjet printer which has worked nicely.
I am trying now to get an HP laser printer to work. It has printed a few Word documents. But now it is failing.
The printer: HP Phaser 3210 printer. All it is supposed to do is print (no scan, fax, etc.)
I keep getting this error:
spooler subsystem app stopped working
I have tried restarting the service -- but either it doesn't fully restart. or it stops again immediately.
It seems the driver for this printer is somewhat outdated.
In Windows Features: I have tried selecting LPD and LPR and deselected: Internet Printing Client
Still no success.
I have tried under printer properties: Print directly to printer -- but no success.
Do you have some suggestions for me?
