I use two laptops (HP NW8240 and Sony Vaio VGN SZ770N) with Windows Vista Business. In addition, I use an external, portable 320GB harddrive by Fujitsu, and until recently the drive worked flawlessly on both laptops. Now, however, it is no longer showing on my HP laptop, and so I can't access it, although I still find it in the Device Manager. Since it is working with the Sony Vaio, I assume the portable disk is OK, and the problem lies somewhere else. Any help would be appreciated.
