Error while connecting to internet

Hi,

I newly got a Hp Compac laptop with windows Vista in it. I got a BSNL broad
band connection with Ethernet modem (UT300R3U with ADSL2 + Modem). I
configured the router and when i try to connect to internet it gives me an
error : 815 Remote server is not reponding . This could be caused by invalid
value for service name field. I am not sure how to fix this issue.. Cna
anybody help me on this ..?

I am facing a similar problem. Wanted to check if you have found a solution to the problem. if you have, request you to let me know how to solve this.
