Post subject: Enabling Aero with a 64mb video card

Is there any way to enable aero with a 64 mb video card? It's an Intel 82845G "graphics controller". Would I even want to due to performance on such a card? Thanks in advance.

Well try going right-clicking oh the desktop and go to Personalize --> Windows Color and Appearance And if it appears a menu with some boxes then Aero is enabled you just have to set the transparency with the slider, if not then a menu should appear And in the color scheme box you can choose between Windows Aero, Windows Vista Basic, Windows Standard and others.

Hope this helped BUT I WOULD NOT SUGGEST WITH THOSE SPECS!

ehh i dont think you will be able to run the real aero however you might try downloading windows blinds and get a vista theme so windows blinds would run a aero imitation but it would look almost the same if you get a good theme
