My Display settings reset everytime I restart computer

Hey i have a big problem with my laptop whenever i restart my laptop the nividia setting reset to low and i have to put it back to high every time. when its on low all my desktop icons are fuzzy my background colour is totally recked and my sidebar is black even though i can change it back to normal it happens every time i turn on my laptop how do i fix this i have a 8400GS Nividia dirver i have tried unitstalling and instaling it in safe mode like ten times if anyone can help me plz i need help.

Thanks to the great live chat i asked people and they helped me fix my problem. thank you so much. for all the people who might have the same problem all i did was create another account see if it has he same problem and it didn't the other account was normal so i used a usb to transfer my files into the other account. then deleted the old one. and that fixed my problem i was so happy. but i don't know why that was happening if anyone can explain it i would appreciate it.
