| When i play WoW: Burning Crusade during game play at some point the screen
goes black and pops back up saying display driver igfx stopped responding and
recovered. It happens often and makes gameplay very difficult.

Which integrated Intel graphics chip do you have?

IHJ is right, you're video card is probably the problem, gotta update your
drivers from Intel.com, or stick a fan on the side of your computer (might
be over heating).
Blow out the dust from your system, check your fans, if it's a notebook take
it off the shag carpet. |

Update your drivers first off. And the igfx, are you using the onboard video
on your motherboard? You may look into upgrading to a discrete graphics card
if your system is able.

This happened a lot. Just update the driver and it should fix the issue.

Since it's a notebook, you should always use the one from HP..... HP may
purchase the system board and integrated graphics chipset from Intel but
it's specifically designed for that particular notebook and may not be the
same as any other Intel x1300 chipset.

To find out exactly what you have, you can use the HP AutoDetection
application.

thanks but as i told, and as it shown in the link my laptop's vga driver
is a Apr.2008 one, and that one is bugged.. so, what should i do? its
the latest driver update as it shown on the link, u see.
with this driver my 3.2.0 patch in wow shows this grap. interface :
what whould be the problem?
with the 3.0.9 patch it has a igfx stops and recovers problem.
with 3.1.0 it works well, no problems...
so strange

Can you trick the notebook into installing the 2009 drivers by expanding the
file (use WinZip or WinRar).... then going into the Device Manager, clicking
on Display Driver, Update Driver and pointing it to the folder that contains
the files you just expanded... preferably point it at the *.inf file.
This does sometimes work.... and I've done it on notebooks that have the
irritating habit of not liking the graphics driver that I want to install
rather than the one that the notebook/Windows wants.
