There are files I have deleted permanently. When I open my GOM Player, I go
to a pull down menu which I click on "open files". I get a pop up which I
then choose "video files". This then shows me a list of all the vid clips
I've downloaded and already deleted and I can't remove them even when I right
click and delete. They are removed from the choice box but they remain on
the drop down list. I want that list of vids clips I downloaded completely
off my C drive and I can't seem to do it!! HELP.

Have you rebooted since you deleted the files?

Does GOM Player, in it's Options\Preferences\Tools have the ability to turn
off its MRU (most recently used) files list?

Tried it...list of files is still there, but of course, the files cannot be
found. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for trying, but that was not an option. Any other suggestions?

I don't know anything about Gom Player, but does any of this help?

http://www.gomplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.html?p=615&sid=2d979a6a93af0a...b4a23ef

You may want to post to their Discusion Board, and ask there to find out
what others who use GOM Player may know about this.

Thanks. I joined the Gom discussion group and am trying for a solution there.

Yes. Go to the web site of the program involved and ask "their" experts.
They know their program best. They may even have a dedicated help group such
as the one you posted to here.
