Call of Duty 2 problem can anyone help pls?

my problem is i only see a white screen in the game. game startup is good the movie intro is good. I can see the menu. but when the game starts I only see white screen and the compass in the lower left and i can hear footsteps its fires the gun it can use scope theres an audio that instruct what to do but I can't see any buildings only white screen.
I use a HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop.
with 2.2 GHZ Intel core 2 dou
256MB NVIDIA geforce 8600M GS
2.00GB Memory
My Directx Says Directx 10

I have the same problem with a Gforce 8400M GS

Go into the settings of COD2 and turn off the Antialiasing it will fix your problem

I had a problem with CoD2 also, what I did was plug in a microphone and it worked fine, if this doesn't help, try changing the compatibility mode
