I am going to put in a new graphics card so I can get Aero, will I have to
reinstall Vista or will it pick up Aero Ok ? Duker

Aero is only a theme. Like Luna in XP. You can get Aero on a Kenmore
Washer. Do you mean Glass? That is what the 3D effects are called.

It should just pick up the new card, install drivers and enable Aero.

You don't have to reinstall. Once you get your new graphics card installed
and drivers configured you can activate Aero or possibly it will get active
automatically.

It will be horrible if you had to reinstall a full OS to activate a feature
on the graphic interface.
