First – it is a great AV product, with a smaller footprint and better engine than Norton. That being said, if you are putting it on your home computer it may be a bit of over-kill. It is a wonderful network AV with features that make the administrator’s life easy; central push updates, central scheduling and many other features. If you are running a small home network you could employ it and “set and forget” it, checking the logs once a week or so. Why not try the free AVG and see if you need more protection than it offers.
