| With many of the AV programs offering free trials, which would you
consider trying and which, no matter what they offer, would you avoid?
And why?

Stay away from Norton or anything Symantec. Too much Bloat.
I personally like Avast, but then again I keep my PC pretty secure as it
is anyway and practice Safe-hex. One thing I like about Avast, though,
is that they have almost daily updates.
