My AntiVirus sometimes comes up with a permission window
requesting "serviees.exe" to access the internet.
The file is in C:\Program Files\Common Files.
The Properties window says it is from MicroSoft Corp, Microsoft® Windows® Operating System. But it was created
only a few months ago. I'm not really trusting this file as it has a strange name, I think it might be a rouge file.

I have done a search at Microsoft and all categories come up with no match, Microsoft suggests "services.exe"

If I type "serviees.exe" into google, not much comes up, except some links that look like they have russian in them or some other language.

I'm not sure if I should grant this file access to the internet.

I am using Windows XP Home SP2.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx M'8s BillyBoob
