ok,,when i had just the old dial-up, i would check the "check security" on my norton and it will show on the webpage that all checks out fine,,thats when i had dial-up.
--------------------------------
i just signed up to verizon dsl, i only have DSL, i'm not using there security suite, i have norton security 2005 that i paid for and have till january to renew,,,
now when i check how my security is from my norton its says all is fine ,,,, but for one thing,,, it says i'm vulnerable to the fialnail trojan,,,then i did some reading on that and it said something about an open port (4567) or a port being not used , i tried to find out how i can close that port or something.
could not find any know how too on that one.
--------
i'm abit confused,,,did this verizon open a port when it did a remote installation,,and they forgot to close it back up or something , when i called them to help me set up my dsl they did it by remote pc (thats me alowing them see and work on my pc from there pc).
--------------------------
i did a check on my pc with all my programs and my norton and it says i'm clean,,,,
so why am i open to this fialnail trojan thing ?.
