I have a new Vista computer that had McAffee pre-installed. I hated it. It blocked everything. I uninstalled it using add/remove programs. I installed Norton 360 and it works fine. However, I just discovered that my security center still shows the McAfee firewall as being turned on. I have Windows firewall off.
Using McAfees instructions, I tried to manually uninstall the firewall and got the message that you can't uninstall something that is not installed. So why does Security Center still show that I have 2 firewalls on?
