Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2007 Issue

Hi.

I have had PC-cillin installed on my pc for a few months.

I had to uninstall it to play some of my pc games cause they would crash to dt with it running, disabled or even shut down completely.

After reinstalling today, it updated once(8.320.1004/4.817.00) then a few minutes later it started a second update(8.550.1001/4.817.00) and prompted for restart.

After restarting, my system is running slow and the hdd will not stop running. Win security center now says Pc-Cillin is not up to date and the start menu and programs take many times longer to start than usual.

Process explorer says PcScnSrv is running at 5 to 50% cpu and shows constant disk usage. I don't have the Trend Micro console up and I'm not running a scan. I have no idea why it is slowing me down, it never did before.

Anyone know what the problem could be here?

Was using spybot as backup.
