Hi hope somebody can help me with this problem.
When my pc restarts not all of the time but quite often i get a spy sweeper alert something like:
"SPY SWEEPER HAS BEEN DISABLED AND WAS UNABLE TO START YOU MUST REINSTALL THE PROGRAM"
I must of reinstalled Spy Sweeper About 20 times in the last week.
At first i thought it must of been something to do with the task schedular & event log being disabled but ive enabled both of those and i still get the error message on boot up.
Spy Sweeper is updated to 5.3.1.
I also have another problem:
I am unable to send the automated bug report to webroot or contact webroot in any way .
I get the message:
Delivery notice notification (failure).
in my inbox.
any help on this would be appreciated thanks.
PC spec:
Dell dimension xps gen 4, p43.2ghz, 3gb ram, sp2, winxp pro |

Hello leviathan72 and welcome to Lockergnome!
When you say restart do you mean by itself?
If you do mean that, turn off auto restart.
Right click my computer > click properties > click advanced > click settings under startup and recovery > untick automatically restart on error > click ok > click apply and restart your PC.
If the PC blue screens note down the information and paste it with your next post. |

Hi Zeus
No i don't meen it restarts by its self.
I meen when ever i re-boot my system.
i have also checked the box:
Load Spy Sweeper at windows start up .
so the program should boot up with no problems but that is not the case
9 times out of 10 i get the error message.
I don't recieve the blue screen of death either just a Spy Sweeper Alert. |
