Help!

Archived from groups: alt>comp>anti-virus (more info?)
After installing Mcafee 8.0 yesterday, I get 4 erros in a row every
hour or so in the Application Event Log....then my PC reboots. Im
running win xp sp2...


Service Error: MID Configuration Applicator: Applying VirusScan
settings failed.(0006)

Anyone have any experience with that?

Trying this ..

Go to C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan\MID, see if you
have a vsecfg.cab file. Re-name or delete the file
