I've used AVG free for years. This last week I’ve noticed the daily scheduled scan, and on demand system scan is taking under a minute. It used to take 2-3 hours (I have 2 sata drives, 250 and 320 gigs) and I am concerned that there may be a security issue here. (Virus blocking the scan?) I have xp pro, sp3, fully updated, AVG 8, updated daily. I have checked the settings, and nothing is changed- full system scan, all files and heuristic scanning. Do I need to worry?
