Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm just after some help.

My problem is, when I install NOD32 on my business computer, it comes up with boxes where the text should be, and when I load up nod, it has boxes where the text should be. I'm not at work at the moment (but I took screen shots and I should be able to upload them tomorrow), and nod has installed perfectly on my home PC.

Is there any third party software that needs to be installed with nod, or could there be some conflicting software too?
On my works PC I have NIS 2002, Spybot, Ad-Aware, AVG Free edition.

I've searched the net for long enough but I can't find any answers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I found this old problem and thought it required an answer.

NOD32 gui errors are normally caused by graphics card drivers. ATI Catalyst cards are the most prone it would seem (at least from the posts in the official support forum over at wilderssecurity.com).

There are three ways to "fix" the problem...

1. get the latest drivers
2. knock back the acceleration by a single notch in your graphics card settings
3. turn off the NOD32 pretty interface and go back to the standard windows interface (this also saves you memory that the custom gui uses).

I personally opt for number 3 - I don't need the green and white pretty interface, as NOD32 runs minimized in it's system tray most of the time anyway, what do I care if it's a pretty color if/when I expand it to check on a scan (one in a blue moon).

hth
