Man am I glad I found this place!
I recently bought a new computer, and wanted to move my active subscription of AVG to my new system. I had the back-up disc they sent me, so installed it from there.
However, now the Resident Shield is not active, and when I double click to access it's settings, I cannot "tick" any of the boxes as none are accessible.
Also, the "Anti-Virus" section in the Control Centre list is also marked in Red. It says "Connection Failed", even though I quite obviously have connection to the internet.
I tried contacting AVG (Grisoft) about a week ago, but have not yet had a reply.
PLEASE, can anyone offer some advice on how I can resolve these issues.
