How do you download avg 8.0 directly to C drive in Vista. It tells me you can't save here. I am trying to install it wihtout the link scanner and this is what it says to do. You are the supposed to run this command line.
c:\avg_free_stf_*.exe /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSurf /REMOVE_FEATURE fea_AVG_SafeSearch

I just disable the plugin in IE. Download to D:and try changing c:\avg_free_stf_*.exe.... to d:\avg_free_stf_*.exe....

I thought there was an option during installation to 'uncheck' the link scanner/ toolbar thing, no?
