I get some trouble to remove the program quictime 7 for windows cause i
try to desinstal the application but i said the follow message :
quicktime error : -3
i try to desinstall on the add/remove program and on quicktime
desinstaller nothing work
i try either to reinstall quicktime on quicktime but the error of some
key on the registry missing this time

had the same error, tried a bunch of stuff, but got desperate, so I cleaned my system of quicktime:
1. Ran the uninstall of iTunes and Quicktime
2. Physically deleted the Quicktime folder in C:/Program Files (since the exe and ocx file were still there)
3. Ran "regedit" in the Start->Run command line
4. Deleted all references to quicktime by using the find command.
I don't know if #3 and 4 were necessary (but I was pissed and was tired of resetting my my machine) but if you don't know what your registry is, then you should see if 1&2 work, or have someone who knows the registry help you out.
Reinstallation of iTunes and Quicktime worked smoothly after one last reset! Good luck!
