Download it? Are you trying to edit the html files?...you can't.
Just copy the .pub file from your desktop to your laptop or vice
versa....edit the .pub then republish when done.

I am trying to use The same program (Publisher 2007) on both
computers. I built the web site with my desktop and loaded it to the
web site. Now I would like to edit it using my laptop. I download it
to my laptop but Publisher 2007 on my laptop does not see it. The
files are there because I can view them with other programs. How do I
get Publisher to see them so I can edit them.

What Rob was saying to you is that you do not edit the html files with
Publisher. You edit the original .pub file and produce new html files and
upload them. Publisher is not a code editor. So copy the original .pub file
over to your laptop and open it in Publisher, make your changes and publish
and upload the new web files.

If you did not keep the original Publisher file, you will have to recreate
it. Post back for a link to an article about how to do that.

Hi, I use Microsoft Publisher 2002. I'm making web pages for a website. I'm
trying to insert a saved ad file onto my web page. I created the ad in
publisher as well. But, when it comes to opening up documents to insert it.
I don't the ad file? Yet, other times I open it and I see it but it won't
let me insert it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'd appreciate any
help.

Thanks,

Smile

Are you trying to place the ad in an area on an existing page?

Can you post the website address so the folks here can see it?

What format is your "ad file"? Did you save it as an image, or just as a
Publisher file. If it is an image you would insert it just as you would any
other image. If it is a Publisher file, then you would open both your
Publisher web file and your Publisher ad file at the same time and copy and
paste the design elements from the ad to the web publication. You don't
insert a Publisher page into another Publisher publication.
