I did a fresh install of Vista Business 32 bit, downloaded and installed all
updates including SP2. When I attempt to reinstall my Office 2007 Pro to the
system I receive an error message which states "Setup cannot continue because
a required file is either corrupted or not available. Run Setup again from
the original source disc or download location." However, I able able to run
Setup on a Windows XP pro PC with no problems. The setup program properties
list it as Microsoft Setup Bootstrapper.

Any ideas for a work around?

Have you tried doing a REPAIR on your Vista installation? You boot from the
DVD and then select REPAIR installation and then if it finds anything to
repair it does.
