Hi y'all,
Was wondering if there's a way to set frontpage to automatically save photos
in the same location as is listed in the code? You see, I rework a lot of
pages for my website, and often times I'll just grab the source and paste it
in a new page. When I go to save the page, frontpage wants to save the pix
locally, and I don't want that (and I don't want to have to tell it every
time that I don't want that).
Thanks.

FP does that because your final image files MUST reside within FP's website,
otherwise the links will be broken when you publish your site to the web -
copy/paste has the same effect. Import or Drag/Drop is the safest way to get
them into your web.
Have you considered registering your favorite image editor (like PS) as a
editor within FP...that way you can Import your images into FP, then when
you want to open/edit them you choose Edit With PS from within FP - make
your changes in PS then Save and your Saves will be to your image files
that are within FP already. For me this is the most effective workflow.

Thanks, but I don't want to do that. To be honest, I work as a web designer
(for an on-line retailer) where time is money. Just wanted to cut out an
extra step or two. I understand links to images being broken, but I'm not
concerned with that (as the pictures will be where they're supposed to be
when the file is uploaded once again.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of but try posting this in
microsoft.public.frontpage.client there's more activity there than in this
ng.
