I have tried to repair Visio 2002 many times using "Add or Remove Programs" &
the installation cd. In both cases whenever I try to repair or even get to
the installation menu, I get the error message below:
"The patch package could not be found. Verify that the patch package exists
and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that
this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."
What does this mean and how do I fix this?? Thanks.

It sounds as if it is looking for a service pack installation file. You
might consider doing an uninstall and then a full install.

Al:
That's the problem. It won't let me uninstall or repair it. No matter what I
do. install, uninstall or repair, i still get the same error message below.
It appears to be corrupted. Any feedback on how to get a corrupted app off
of your tablet? What would happen if I went into MS-Explorer and manually
deleted the existing installation files?

Also, I have already loaded Windows Service Pack 2 onto the tablet.

The service pack I was thinking of was possibly a visio service pack, not
the operating system.
