| I need to build a lot of labels. I have an Excel file with a list of all the
businesses in the town I live in and I need to print out a label (or print to
a bunch of envelopes). How can I import data from this Excel files so that it
can make these thousands of labels. I Have one column for Name, one for
Address, one for City, one for state, one for zip. How do I do this?

I have gotten it to import successfully sorta. When I use the mail/merge
wizard, it simply makes a page full of labels with the first company in the
list. How do I make it to make thousands of labels, one for each company,
without all the duplicates?

You can only have one label on your screen for a merge to be successful.
If you are looking at print preview it will show all the data being same on
every label. This is a Publisher bug.
If you are unsure, there is a test print in the print dialogue.

Why don't you just use Microsoft Word to generate your mailing
labels? Here are some instructions on doing a mail merge using Excel
and Microsoft Word. Word makes generating mailing labels really easy!
