Archived from groups: microsoft>public>visual>sourcesafe (more info?)

Yesterday I downloaded a new version of .Net Framework 1.1. Today, I cannot
open my Control Panel or Internet Explorer...I keep getting "Microsoft Visual
C++ Runtime Library" error messages! I'm a typical user - not very technical-
and wasn't aware that I even had C++ installed!

I tried to fix the IE problem by downloading IE7, but it won't connect to
the net!

Any help would be greatly appreciated since I don't know where to begin!

Thanks,
Rick
