I cannot install MIcrosoft Visio onto my notebook. The message I get is
"Microsoft Office Visio Professional setup cannot continue because the
installation source has been corrupted". I have successfully installed this
programme on our office pc. Help please

I have seen this before with Visio and other Office product installations.
The issue described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/820930/en-us is the
most likely cause of the problem.

The simplest resolution in this case is to go to Start > Run > type
Regsvr32.exe MSXML3.DLL > click OK. Then try installing Visio again.
