VSS 2005, creating a project and addign files

We've just implemented Visual SourceSafe 2005. I am adding current
applications. I am creating projects in VSS, and using the drag and drop to
add files from Windows Explorer. All of my projects, for various reasons
have subfolders. When I drag and drop, the subfolders are not added. Do I
have to re-create all subfolders in VSS, then drag and drop for them?
Secondly, if a have a project with several subfolders, and I want check it
all out (for example a C# solution), can I check out at the 'root' level and
all subfolders and items within will be checked out, or do I need to go to
each individual subfolder? Is there a setting that would allow me to
checkout/in add items and include subfolders?

Hi,

There should be a "Recursive" checkbox in the lower left corner of the Add/Checkin/out Folder Dialog. You can check that option to see.
