In Publisher 2007 I found a side fold greeting card 5.5" X 4.25. Want to
modify it to a top fold to fit in an envelope 7.5" X 4.25". I then want
the template to return to the default dimenstion. Guidance sought.

As I said in your previous post, you cannot overwrite a template. Once you do
your modifications Publisher will ask you to save as, the template will remain
as it was originally.
You also can open the template, copy/paste the objects to a new publication.

Will the card be 3.75 x 4.25 folded? Otherwise, for a top fold card 7.5 you will
need 15 inch stock. Maybe I'm missing something.
