Hi
using pub 2007
I am creating an A5 double sided recipe book
Each page will have 1, 2, 3 or 4 recipes
I have created a text box manually around each recipe name from margin
to margin until it looks right & fill the box with 40% black.
All text fonts are the same size

How would I ensure that all my text boxes were the same depth ?

After you create your text box, right-click the box, format text box, check
*Apply settings to new text boxes". Of course you can copy/paste. Place your
cursor where you want the paste, right-click, click paste.
You may have some problems printing your semi-transparent box. Do a print, if it
doesn't look right, use a semi-transparent rectangle, copy/paste special as a
..png.

Thank you Mary
I created a text box with my desired deph & page margins/position,
then used copy/paste on my template page, however, the pasted box
appears is a different position on the page!!

Would you know why this is happening please?

I have had no problems printing the semi-transparent box

I have no idea why this is happening. I tried different publications and
homemade templates, the text boxes would paste exactly where they were in the
original copy.
Create some guide lines, this will help your positioning.

Could you send the publications to me, maybe something is going on that needs to
be addressed in future versions of Publisher?
