Hello,

Ok I'm relatively new to this. I designed a website on Publisher 07
(downloaded the fix for the nav bars). I am using CuteFTP to upload. When I
uploaded it, only the home page shows up and objects on the homepage are not
showing up.

Can someone help me?

Thank you,
Stacy

Making progress. In reading the topics here I found I had not uploaded the
index_files.

But now none of my links are working. HELP!

The website is www.norfolkcommunityleague.org

What links don't work specifically. They all seem fine to me with IE7. Which
browser are you using and which version?

Hi guys,

Thanks for responding. I am using IE8. Every link I click on on every page
doesn't work except for the email links. Do I need to upload each file I have
a hyperlink to? I have tried playing around with this and I can't seem to get
it fixed.

>>>The files you want to make available need to be on your website server;
you'll need to upload them.

It is better if the files are in their own folder, i.e., downloads

Note: It is better that there are no uppercase letters or spaces in the file
names. You can use the underscore in place of a space.

Step one: create the folder downloads on the server.
Step two: upload the files into the downloads folder.

Rewrite the hyperlinks to read

http://www.professorannsmathhelp.com/downloads/filename.fileextension

For instance you have algebra test file named algebratest.pdf it would read

http://www.professorannsmathhelp.com/downloads/algabratest.pdf

Upload the new website files and it should be good.<<<

I found this info in another thread.....I have done this and the links still
don't work. PLEASE HELP!

I think I've figured it out.

Glad you figured it out. The link to your PDF file on the home page works
for me in IE7, but the link is dead in FireFox. The whole text box has been
converted to an image because you used the 'fancy' border art. Either change
to a single line for a border or remove the border, insert a new empty text
box and add the border art to that text box, layer it on top of the original
text box, and then go to Arrange > order > send to back. That will give you
the same look but will not convert the text box to an image and kill the
link.
