hello

i'm sure you know, that if you create accounts on bookmarking sites, social
sites, etc etc with high PR and have your link posted in your profile or to
make a news post it'll help your own PR.

now my question is...say you create 2+ accounts on the same sites, will that
help it even more....or does it only work once/site?

In the absence of *real* help, those boosts are mere drops in the bucket.
For *real* help, make the content on your page semantic and meaningful, with
good usage of keywords and page placement. That's where the real boost
comes from, not your mention of your own domain in a blog page.

As Murray indicates, this isn't a very effective method. Having incoming
links from well-ranked sites can be effective, but they should be sites with
content closely related to yours, not "social sites".

Think about it - how could every link on a giant networking site receive a
boost just by being there? There are millions of links on those sites.

Not to mention that even though the site has a high PR, it doesn't
necessarily trickle down to the various pages within the site, and the rank
that is received from that page is split up equally to the pages (not sites)
linked to.
