Hit Counter

I can't seem to reset the hit counter to a predetermined value. According to
the instructions, i select the box "reset hit counter to predetermined value"
and typed a value in the box. However, the hit counter reset to 1 and I can't
seem to change that. Now the counter is incrementing from 1. I'm using
FrontPage 2002.

Open the live/remote site in FP, then the _private folder and select the thepagename.htm.cnt file to
open in Text Editor (Notepad), then change the number, do not change the total number of digits
