HOW TO KEEP THE "FORMATTING" TOOL BAR UP ON THE SCREEN?

Go to http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download the FP
Cleaner tool.
With FrontPage closed, run the routines that:
"Restore Default Toolbars and Menus"
"Clear hidden temporary files"
"Clear hidden web cache files"

The first routine will delete the cmdui.prf file that may be corrupt,
and should restore the default toolbars including the formatting
toolbar. Note that any customisations to the menus and toolbars will be
lost.

The last 2 routines are general maintenance that may improve
performance.
