Calculation between two dates

Hi

Have requested some help on this topic but perhaps I should give you the full picture as to what my plan is.

Table is as follow:
Prod ID
Date
Shop
Product
Pack
Singles
Baked
Damaged

At monthend I want to enter my last day trading stock ie 31/10/2009
The next monthend I want to enter my last day trading stock ie 30/11/2009

I want to calculate between those two dates the value and units of stock :

Date Product Cost Units Value
ie 31/10/2009 Soap 1.00 4 4.00
31/11/2009 Soap 1.00 2 2.00
Total 2 2.00

I want to achieve Opening stock - Closing STock. Last months m/end stock will then become this months Opening stock....

Is there someone out there who will be able to help
I hope it is clear what I want to do
