BCM is listed in the Add or Remove Programs list under Control Panel. You
should be able to uninstall it from there. You may also need to uninstall
the MSDE portion in Add or Remove as well, but it depends on which version
you have. Look for Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MICROSOFTSMLBIZ)
if you have the BCM Update (version 2) installed.

What if after using the add/remove programs and using the companion CD BCM
doesn't automatically unintall? I keep getting an error message "An error
has occurred while removing the SQL Active Directory Helper Service." Active
directory is not installed on my XP pro.

There's a lot easier way.... run the installation disc for BCM and use it to
uninstall just BCM, following the prompts. Seems to work great, simple and
quick.

"BCM" also Stands for Broad Com Modem. The MS Outlook Business Contact
Manager is not listed as "BCM" in the "Add/Remove Programs" list. The Broad
Com Modem is. Delete that... and you'll have deleted your access to the
internet. Next time you boot up, you'll have no access because you'll have
deleted your modem drivers. The MS Business Contact Manager is listed WITH
MS Outlook as something like: "Microsoft Outlook with Business Contact
Manager" or "Microsoft Outlook with Business Contact Manager Update". Be
CAREFUL!

I have tried using the disc to uninstall, reinstall. I have used the control
panel - add/remove.
I cannot get the BCM to uninstall or reinstall. Every time I open outlook it
always looks for the database. It will not create a new one and cannot
connect to my computer so I have to cancel out of 2 different wizards EACH
time I open Outlook.
